Police Involved to Supervise Circulation of Dangerous Food

Jakarta Provincial Government is targeting to supervise 149 traditional markets, fishery center, and supermarket in March until December. To optimize it, it will involve Jakarta Marine, Agriculture and Food Security Dept and Polda Metro Jaya Criminal Directorate.

"Dept head had met with Polda Metro Jaya Criminal Directorate to join in supervision of traditional market. They will escort us," Head of Food Security Section for Jakarta Marine, Agriculture and Food Security Dept, Sri Haryati, Wednesday (3/23).

Traditional Market Monitored from Hazardous Substances

If there is violation, her side will give a shock therapy by putting sticker on the stall and warn the owner. If they do twice, her side and PD Pasar Jaya will evict them from the market.
